Police seek pickup driver

Sidney North Saanich RCMP want to talk to a driver that struck a pedestrian in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Around 2 a.m. a pedestrian reported he’d been struck about an hour earlier while walking on Lochside Drive. The man reported that he and a woman were walking on Lochside near Weiler Avenue when he was struck by a small, white older pickup with a canopy. The driver did not check on the pedestrian who was knocked to the ground and sustained minor injuries.
