Central Saanich police are investigating an odd single vehicle crash in Central Saanich on Sunday, June 10.

Witnesses heard a crash in the 6400 block of Bella Vista Drive around 9:30 p.m. and saw a car lodged against a fence near English Meadows Park, police said.

Before police arrived, they were told, another person came and moved the vehicle then both drove off in another vehicle.

Police contacted the registered owner who denied being in a crash. The vehicle was towed while police continue to investigate.
