No thefts despite open doors

Central Saanich residents return from vacation to find doors open, but nothing stolen

A couple of open doors in Central Saanich neighbourhoods fortunately weren’t signs of thefts.

A resident of the 2400 block of Tanner Road returned from vacation on March 1 to find a basement door open at home. The trespass happened sometime between Feb. 7 and March 1.

The same day a resident of the 7600 block of Wallace Drive came home in the evening to find the patio door wide open.

Nothing was reported stolen in either case and there were no signs of forced entry.
