John Charles Mackelson of Sidney, 50, succumbed to his injuries at the scene after his motorcycle collided with a propane truck on Lands End Road at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9.
According to preliminary reports from witnesses, Mackelson was travelling eastbound on Lands End Road and struck the propane truck as it attempted to make a left turn onto Cloake Hill Road. Speed is suspected to be a factor.
The driver of the propane truck was shaken but uninjured.
