This photograph was taken Aug. 13 at 10:59 p.m. from Island View Beach, when James Younger was on a three-night meteor-photographing mission. In addition to meteors, Younger captured this image of the International Space Station passing through the night sky. Younger verified his subject by checking the website for viewing the ISS, which lists its appearance by city and time. The ISS was visible at 10:58 that night for three minutes. Its approach was 10 degrees above WNW.
