Housing report available

A recent report on affordable housing in the Capital Regional District has been forwarded to the District of North Saanich

A recent report on affordable housing in the Capital Regional District has been forwarded to the District of North Saanich’s hosing strategy consultant.

The report from the Community Social Planning Council and done on behalf of the CRD, Real Estate Foundation of B.C. and the Greater Victoria Real Estate Board, summarizes options for municipal planners and councils to create more opportunities for affordable housing.

The district is currently updating its housing strategy. The report, said staff, is more information for the consultant to use. The report is also available on the district’s web site.
