An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Quadra Street.

The incident happened at approximately 11 a.m., at the intersection of Quadra and Cloverdale.

Police at the scene were speaking to the male driver of a white van, who pulled over in the northbound lane of Quadra Street, a few feet past the intersection.
