Stelly’s secondary school’s Global Perspectives class will be travelling to Huaman, Peru on March 18 to assist in the building of a preschool.
To further assist the people of Huaman, the class is holding a coat drive until March 16 to collect warm coats, sweaters and rain gear.
The ideal coats are raincoats and fleece for keeping people warm and dry. Light cotton jackets are not required. People wanting to donate, can drop off coats at the front office of Stelly’s school, 1627 Stelly’s X Road in Central Saanich.
