Tech savvy residents can now access information from the Town of Sidney more easily.
A new website feature allows residents to subscribe to web pages that are frequently updated.
“This is an excellent communication tool which helps people stay informed of council’s decisions and other important events and notices that affect Sidney residents,” said mayor Larry Cross.
Initially, the subscribe feature will be added to the council agendas and minutes web page, the press releases web page, and the notices web page. “All people have to do is click on a link on a specific web page. They will then be asked to enter their email address, and from then on they will automatically be notified when that specific web page is updated,” explained Cross.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our website and showcase Sidney and all of its amazing qualities,” Cross said. “And we want to hear from people who have suggestions on other improvements that can be made to the website.”
