Health check
Multiple 9-1-1 calls of a possible impaired driver Monday evening drew Central Saanich Police to Highway 17 when the driver stopped in the fast lane near Mount Newton X Road. Officers discovered the driver was suffering a medical emergency and called an ambulance.
Left behind
A briefcase found in a neighbouring yard led to the discovery of a vehicle entered in the 2200 block of Coolridge Place. Liquor was stolen after the vehicle was entered sometime overnight and discovered the morning of March 23.
Window bash
A rear window was smashed on a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Lancelot Place. It was reported to Central Saanich Police the morning of March 23.
Lock wreckage
A vehicle was damaged in the 6700 block of Central Saanich Road when someone tried to jimmy the lock. The damage was discovered March 28, but the would-be thieves didn’t get into the vehicle.
