Applications are now open for the Saanich Peninsula Arts and Culture Grant program.
Organizations, groups and collectives based in the Saanich Peninsula organizing arts and culture initiatives for the benefit of residents can apply for the grant.
These initiatives could include programs, workshops, training, performances or presentations. Individuals looking for support for tuition costs or registration fees for an arts and culture program or class, or those planning to organize an initiative to support the community can apply for bursary funding.
The application deadline is Feb. 15.
The ArtSea Community Arts Council manages the program, and the funding is coming from the Town of Sidney and the District of North Saanich.
“Together we look forward to supporting existing arts and cultural initiatives, as well as new and innovative programs that will enrich our communities,” wrote an ArtSea Community Arts Council spokesperson in a statement.
