Nights are longer now and so are shopping hours in Sidney.
The town will be open late to celebrate its official kick-off to Christmas on Friday (Nov. 22) from 4 to 8 p.m.
Visit your favourite downtown shops to get a head start on your holiday gift shopping. Enjoy the treat stations and a free Sidney by the Sea gift card with every purchase. The first 100 shoppers will also walk away with a Sidney by the Sea collector cup.
And what's a Christmas kick-off without a picture with Santa and live music? Enjoy some cookies while you wait to meet and take a pic with old Kris Kringle himself.
A wreath-making station, complimentary holiday beverages, wine and cheese bites are also available for everyone to enjoy at Sidney's biggest shopping night.
