Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria (BBBSV) is launching a new way for local businesses to help children in need as funding gaps continue to impact local social service programs.
With the 75 Doors: Unlock Potential fundraiser, local businesses can sponsor a 'door' for $2,500 where each 'door' unlocked allows BBBSV to match one child with one mentor.
“This is a chance for the corporate sector to give back and have an impact in the lives of children right here in the CRD. Every dollar invested in mentorship reduces barriers for our youth and adds value to their future. With the help of our community, we hope to unlock 75 doors to match 75 young people with mentors,” said Amanda Hill, BBBSV executive director, in a news release.
Each business that sponsors a door will receive a Door Ceremony video and digital marketing engagement in the 75 Doors campaign.
"With demand for mentors at an all-time high, BBBSV challenges local businesses to support this critical campaign and unlock the potential of our youth," noted the release.
