Celebrating the release of their debut EP, Much More Than Merry Men, local teen band The Archers will be hosting a show at the Mary Winspear Centre Aug. 26.
The band, made up of five recent graduates from Stelly’s secondary school, will be playing all six songs off the EP, along with other favourites not on the album.
“[The show] is going to be really exciting, and we’re working really hard,” said band member Ethan Caleb. “It’ll be really great to have something people can buy and that we can be proud of.”
Opening for the band will be Scott Currie, member of the BC band Ivory Coast, and local band This Side Up.
Tickets are $10 and are available online on the Mary Winspear website, or at the centre box office.
