Victoria Genealogical Society kicks off its fall Speaker Series

Victoria Genealogical Society kicks off its fall Speaker Series with two presentations next month.

Helen Edwards, past president of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals will be showing and discussing William Harbeck’s 1907 video of downtown Victoria and the Gorge Waterway.

Monica Sheridan will discuss her genealogical discoveries of the grandmother she never knew.

The meeting takes place at Gordon Head United Church Hall, 2401 Tyndal Ave., on Sept. 11, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
