Violinist Eehjoon Kwon

Violinist Eehjoon Kwon, 17, was introduced as the 2012 Splash Young Soloist at last Wednesday’s partner appreciation breakfast held at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour hotel.

Kwon performed the first movement of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto at the event and will play for a crowd of more than 45,000 at this year’s Victoria Symphony Splash on Aug. 5. Kwon is a Grade 11 student at Mount Doug.
