Motor Gathering returns to Sidney in August

The Vancouver Island Motor Gathering is back in Sidney this summer.

SIDNEY — The Vancouver Island Motor Gathering is back in Sidney this summer.

On August 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a collection of car and trucks, motorcycles and more will be on display at the Viscount Aero Centre, located at the west end of Beacon Avenue, across the highway.

There will be activities for the entire family, in addition to classic cars, hot rods and true gems. Rudi Koniczek from Rudi and Company will be one of the judges once again this year.

One hundred per cent of all money raised at the event will be donated to the three charities involved in 2015: Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation and the David Foster Foundation.
