The Eryn Sharpe Trio will return to St. John’s United Church as part of Jazz Vespers, Dec. 2.
A staple in the downtown Victoria jazz scene, the Trio is a regular staple on the stages of Hermann’s Jazz Club and the Hotel Grand Pacific lounge, having written and performed together since 2013.

Featuring vocalist Eryn Sharpe, guitarist Leon Nagasaki and bassist Nick Mintenko, the trio focus on jazz, but include elements of R&B, pop and blues in their work, last featured on their 2016 album of original material, One Day.
Jazz Vespers will continue into the new year with the Ryan Oliver Trio, Jan. 6, Edie DaPonte on Feb. 10 and the Flying Saucers, March 3.
All shows begin at 7 p.m. at St. John’s United Church (10990 West Saanich Road) and admission is free, though an offering will be taken to cover the cost of the musicians and the Vespers program.
