SIDNEY — Canadian wildlife artist and Saltspring Island resident Robert Bateman spoke to a full house at the Mary Winspear Centre on Feb. 26. It was a fundraiser for the Rest Haven Foundation.
Bateman, outspoken on the need for nature in people’s lives, also addressed terrorism, the use of fear as a control mechanism and war and their impact on the psyche of young people at home and abroad.
