All are welcome to hop on by the annual Easter egg hunt in North Saanich.

Peninsula Celebrations Society is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt April 16 at Dominion Brook Park, across from the Panorama Recreation Centre, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Children are invited to bring their baskets – or hands will do – to search for Easter eggs hidden by the Easter bunny himself. The eggs can then be exchanged for chocolates. After the hunt there will be photo opportunities with the Easter bunny and a special guest, Big Bird. And for the first time this year there will be face painting provided by Panorama. Hot beverages will also be served by members of the Kiwanis Club.

“We’re looking forward to a fun weekend for families, rain or shine – hopefully shine,” event organizer Toni Bird said.

This is a free event for all ages.
