Fitness and social outings are a common theme as people head into a new year.

An open house and info session is set for those new to the Saanich Peninsula, and interested in the programs and services available at Greenglade Community centre in Sidney.

Learn more about the pottery studio, weight and fitness room, mind and body studio, activity rooms, dance studio and teen lounge.

Attendees of the facility tour receive two free passes to give the centre a try.

The facility tour and info session runs Jan. 15 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Greenglade Community Centre, 2151 Lannon Way.
