The Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation is giving residents a chance to see a new philanthropy documentary.

Uncharitable will be screening at Star Cinema in Sidney at 9.30 a.m. on Giving Tuesday, which is taking place on Nov. 28.

Uncharitable is based on the book of the same name by Dan Pallotta, which “exposes the dark side of philanthropy and introduces a radical new way of giving.”

Coffee will be available after the documentary is finished, and Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation board members will be in attendance collecting donations for community project grants and sharing information about the foundation.

Tickets are limited and those interested can register at can.givergy.com/givingtuesday.
