Royal Canadian Legion provides student bursaries

10 students win bursaries following fundraising campaign

The Royal Canadian Legion’s Poppy Campaign had raised $104,290 by Dec. 31, with $13,500 being allocated to their Youth Bursary program.

Val Noyes, the Poppy Chair, thanked the community via a press release. “The generosity of this community is overwhelming,” she said. “We are looking forward to this year’s campaign and a big thank you to everyone.”
