For one lucky family filling out and submitting their Readers’ Choice Awards ballot paid off.
Every year, the Peninsula News Review hosts the Readers’ Choice Awards so the residents of the Peninsula can highlight their favourite businesses. This year was no exception and residents from across the Peninsula filled out ballots.
As a sponsor of the awards, Thrifty Foods donated a $500 gift card prize. To be eligible, residents had to complete the Readers’ Choice Awards ballot in full and Tina Bruner and her daughter Sarah of Brentwood Bay were the lucky winners of the gift card.
“It couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Tina Bruner. “We are so lucky and thankful that we won it.”
