The Sidney/North Saanich branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library has no shortage of themed book collections on display this month.

Greeting visitors right as they walk into the branch are two displays – one celebrating books written by Black authors gathered into one display for Black History month, and another book club display, which features books collected by theme to help adult members find other titles they may be interested in.

Until the end of the month, book club members are also able to enter for a chance to win a prize pack.

Until the end of the week, the branch is also offering a special ‘Blind Date with a Book’ program, where visitors can choose a wrapped mystery book only by its description, only discovering what they will be reading when they get home and unwrap it.

The branch is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at 10091 Resthaven Dr.
