Oak Bay Kiwanis takes to the tea house each winter to sell Christmas cake and 2021 was no different.

Every holiday season the local non-profit raises funds for its various community initiatives through the popular sale that ended mid-December.

Fundraising usually includes breakfasts at Willows Beach Tea Room from January through April, an annual shredding fundraiser, and a brick sponsorship program.

The foundation was established in 1989 to generate and direct donated funds in support of the Kiwanis Pavilion residents. In recent years the foundation has funded things such as music therapy, secure therapeutic gardens and facility upgrades.
