Librarians bookish on future

Two of region's top librarians to address Canadian Club

For those worried what the future holds for libraries, the Canadian Club of Victoria speaker series aims to provide the answers, offering two of B.C.s most knowledgeable librarians who will explain what the future likely holds: Marnie Swanson, the University of Victoria librarian, and Maureen Sawa, the chief executive officer of the Greater Victoria Public Library.

The meeting will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Nov. 15 at the Comfort Hotel, 3020 Blanshard St. The cost – including lunch –  is $25.
