Fall hockey classic hits the pavement again

The United Way fundraiser will see teams of four battle for a coveted trophy in the event organized by the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve staff.

The event has raised more than $3,000 over the last three years and this year’s target is $1,250.

There will be raffle prizes, a barbecue as well as coffee and bakery items for sale.

Hockey players hit the pavement from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 21.
