The Best Western Plus Emerald Isle hotel in downtown Sidney has received the company’s Director’s Award, celebrating the hotel’s “outstanding quality and standards.”
In a press release, Best Western said the award recognizes branches of the international hotel chain that score in the top 20 per cent of all its North American hotels based on standards of cleanliness, maintenance and customer service.
“The Director’s Award is an important symbol of success,” said Thaylin Parrish, General Manager of the Sidney branch, in the release. “It confirms (our) commitment to providing quality accommodations for our guests.”
According to the release, the hotel was also awarded the company’s district Design Champion Award in late 2010.
