I am the group publisher for Greater Victoria, leading a team of about 60 staff and approximately 1,250 newspaper carriers. After graduating from Fanshawe College, my media career has spanned nearly two decades across print and digital platforms. I've had the privilege of working at Black Press Media, Times Colonist, and Auto Trader Publications. My experience covers various departments, including advertising, marketing, and distribution. I played a crucial role in launching the Greater Victoria Editorial Bureau in 2018 and driving the digital success of the six community newspapers in our region. Recently, I initiated the video production department at Victoria News, which serves local initiatives and Black Press publications throughout BC. With four generations of my family residing on the Island, I now consider Metchosin my home, where I live with my husband and daughter.
