VIJHL All-Stars named, Panthers among them

The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League announced the All-Star Game and Prospects Game selections this past week and several Panthers hit the mark.

Josh Adkins, 17 and Cole Golka, 18 were named to the All-Star team as forwards. The two will be joined by 19-year-old defenceman Cody Breitenstein.

Named to the Prospects Team were 16-year-old Nathan Looysen as a forward, defenseman Spencer Loverock, 17, and goalie Stephen Heslop, also 17.

Both the All Star game and the Prospects game will be hosted by the Oceanside Generals in Parksville on Jan. 13.
