I would like to personally offer my heartfelt thanks to Kenny Podmore. My husband and I have lived in this beautiful town of Sidney by the Sea for almost 13 years and, during that time, we, and many of our friends, have attended numerous celebrations which this gentleman has initiated, helped to develop, and/or promoted with great enthusiasm.
In addition to his official role as Town Crier, he has volunteered tirelessly at many of these events and has a dedicated group of volunteers who are more than happy to help if he is involved.
I am hoping recent comments in your newspaper will not deter Mr. Podmore from continuing his proud and enthusiastic support for this town which he, and so many of us, are so blessed to call home.
