As written in Jackie Smilt’s letter in late March, I agree the McTavish Interchange could be improved with attractive low maintenance landscaping.
However, it is my understanding the area lies within provincial jurisdiction, therefore would not be a local municipal responsibility.
It’s interesting to note that traffic circle landscaping in Grand Cayman are improved by private individuals and businesses, proud to display their logo at the actual site of the roundabout. I wonder if there would be any such interest in this concept at McTavish?
