Mary Jane
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of our beloved associates, Mary Jane Roberton. Mary Jane moved to the island from Nipawin, Saskatchewan in 1964 and had 2 sons, Kris and Duane. She worked at the Royal Bank of Canada on West Saanich Rd for many years when she became a licensed REALTOR(R) in January 1994. She began her real estate career with Realty World Greater Victoria then moved to Realty World Sidney with John Bruce. In 1996, Realty World Sidney merged with DFH Real Estate Ltd. and so began her journey with DFH - Sidney. Everyone who met Mary Jane loved her and loved working with her. She was so very kind and gererous to others and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humour - she always had a joke to tell! She left you feeling happier for being in her company. Her cooking skills were second to none - she would volunteer to bring in a turkey & fixin's when we'd have a Pot Luck and was well known for her Borscht soup.
We will miss Mary Jane terribly and know that she is in good hands.
