Victoria Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman, who they say was dealing drugs “a stone’s throw” away from the detachment on Caledonia Street.

“The suspect’s drug dealing was so blatant and so close that our investigators found the best means to conduct the majority of the surveillance and investigation did not require them to leave the station,” read a statement from the VicPD.

Investigators executed a search warrant on Thursday and arrested the Victoria woman.

Officers seized an unknown quantity of drugs, money and other evidence.

The woman was released and will appear in court at a later date.
