Today may just be the last day of fall sunshine.

If you’ve looked at the forecast this week you may have noticed something a little daunting. According to Environment Canada there is a 40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers starting late Saturday night with more coming Monday.

While it’s unlikely we’ll actually see some of the white stuff – or if we do that it’ll stick – it is a sign of things to come this winter.

If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to check any outdoor water sources, stock up on salt or gravel, and make sure your home is ready for winter. It’s coming.
