Power outage affecting homes from Sooke to Port Renfrew

B.C. Hydro hasn’t announced when power will be restored

B.C Hydro is investigating a series of power outages spanning from Sooke to Port Renfrew, which affecting about 1,000 customers.

The outages are due to stormy weather.

A tree is down and over wires in an area of Clark Road, Trimmer Place and Otter Point Place. It’s affecting 10 customers.

In an area from west of Sooke to Jordan River more than 470 houses are without power due to a tree down across wires. B.C. Hydro is also investigating an outage Southeast of Parkinson Road and northwest of West Coast Road in the Port Renfrew area.

B.C. Hydro has not announced when power will be restored in these areas.
