PHOTO GALLERY: Brentwood Bay Festival parade delights kids young and old

Dozens of floats, kids on tricycles, animals, bagpipers and mascots streamed through the streets of Brentwood Bay on Saturday for the 2012 Brentwood Bay Festival.

Children with painted faces held bright green balloons and waved as the parade wound its way from Bayside middle school to Pioneer Park.

The day kicked off with a pancake breakfast before the parade started at 10 a.m. Later, live music brought the stage at Pioneer Park to life.
