Central Saanich police want boaters to be wary of a stolen sailboat on the seas.

The 26-foot blue and white Haida “Shahbandar” bears the registration number 14K39917 on the side.

It has blue sail covers and a grey stripe along the side. It's valued around $4,500.

The boat was moored in Brentwood Bay and was last seen by the owner in mid January.

Anyone spotting the boat, or with information on the theft should call Central Saanich Police Service at 250-652-4441.
