Tourism group hosts development day

Tourism Vancouver Island is hosting a professional development day on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the Mary Winspear Centre.

Workshops include How to Unleash Your People and Multiply Results presented by Juma Wood, the manager of performance improvement for MNP LLP; Internet Marketing for Tourism by Garland Coulson, the so-called E-Business Tutor; and the Media Mix presented by Robert Fralick of Roberts Communications Inc.

“Tourism Vancouver Island realizes the value of continued education especially with today’s economy and ever-changing environment.” said Dave Petryk, president and CEO of Tourism Vancouver Island.
