Don't mail your taxes

There is threat of a postal strike in the air, and some residents need to remember not to mail in their property taxes. Homeowner grants and property taxes are due to municipal offices by July 4 to avoid a penalty. Payments can be made in person at your local municipal hall or financial institution, online, or through telephone banking. Homeowner grants can be dropped off or claimed online through your local municipality. Visit online for more information www.sidney.ca, www.centralsaanich.ca or www.northsaanich.ca.
