Eco Awards seek green-minded

The Capital Regional District is looking for the brightest green folks they can find.

The EcoStar Community Environmental Award, co-ordinated by the CRD are open for nominations. The awards are open to individuals, businesses and groups in seven categories: community environmental leader, youth leader, water stewardship, waste reduction, climate action, land stewardship, and integrated watershed management.

Nominations can be completed online at www.crd.bc.ca/ecostar until April 7 at midnight. For those without Internet access, a paper nomination form is available at 625 Fisgard St.
