The Celtic Vespers only happen four times a year and it’s back this Sunday.

Galiano Island’s Esther-Ruth Teel will be at St. John’s United Church, 10990 West Saanich Rd., April 23. Teel is a conductor, pianist, harpist, organist and soprano.

Teel is acclaimed and has performed with Pacific Opera Victoria, Pacific Baroque Orchestra and Victoria Symphony, just to name a few.

Previous Celtic Vespers performers have drawn crowds of around 40 to 70 people.

The performance is from 7 to 8 p.m. There is no admission fee, however, an offering will be taken to cover the cost of the musicians. For more, call 250-656-5273 or email eve.kerr@telus.net
