Sidney Concert Band turns big 3-0

In celebration of the anniversary the band is playing a show in Sidney.

The Sidney Concert Band has been delivering toe-tapping music for the last 30 years and now it’s time to celebrate.

On Sunday, May 28 the Band is playing the Mary Winspear Centre for its 30th anniversary. The concert, Our Favourite Things, will be lead by new musical director Bruce Ham.

The president of the Sidney Concert Band, Yvonne Kupsch, says the band is very excited for the show and hopes for a full house.

The event starts at 2 p.m. in the Charlie White Theatre.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the box office or online at www.marywinspear.ca.
