Calling all altos and contraltos for concert

The Pen Singers are always looking for men to sing (bass or tenor), but for the Spring Concert Series The Long and Winding Road, they’re in need of a few good women.

They need women who can sing low, altos or contraltos, as they’re known in classical music.

Some famous altos are Diana Krall, Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Norah Jones, Kelly Clarkson and Maureen Forrester, once Canada’s best-known female opera superstar.
