Sidney Rotarians donate $1,000 to local air cadets

Sidney by the Sea Rotary Club donated $1,000 to the 676 Kittyhawk Air Cadets on April 6, 2017.

Club President Bruce Burns, and Rotary member Bob Leitch presented 676 Kittyhawk Commanding Officers Captain Michael Tellier and Sponsoring Committee Chairperson Lori Lumley with the symbolic cheque.

These funds will go towards the purchase of much-needed replacement tents for the cadet corps’ Field Training Exercise programs.

The 676 Kittyhawk Air Cadet Squadron is in its 59th year of operation and offers outdoor, fitness, music and flight programs to youth aged 12-18. For further information, please contact 676ssc@gmail.com.
