Get ready to fling into spring with Sidney elementary school students.
“This year, with a focus on giving back and a sense of community, we would like to invite all of our Sidney neighbours to come out and enjoy this fun event,” said Camille Beaudry of the Sidney School Parent Advisory Council.
This year’s Spring Fling will be held on Friday, May 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Residents are welcome to join in the fun and check out the silent auction, raffle baskets, bake sale, plant sale, games, food and plenty of fun for all ages.
For a Sidney school gives back challenge, they will be building a food bank pyramid, so guests are invited to bring along a non-perishable item and help the school build a mountain of munchies for those less fortunate in our community.
“Everyone at Sidney school would like to thank all those individuals and businesses whose donations continue to support our children’s desire to learn music, sports, art, science and much more,” said Beaudry.
