Curves gains weight for food bank

Sidney Curves surpassed its goal of 1,200 pounds.

The local gym collected 1,350 pounds of food for the Sidney Lions Food Bank — one member brought in more food than her weight, 150 pounds — during the Curves International’s 13th annual food drive.

The original goal was to beat its Christmas donation of 1,000 pounds to the food bank that services the entire Peninsula.
