Help kids help the food bank

A group of young students want to help the food bank, but they need your help.

Kids from grades 4 and 5 at Keating elementary school are taking donations for the Sidney Lions Food Bank on Monday morning. People who can helped are asked to drive up to the school, at 6843 Central Saanich Rd., where the students will be waiting to collect non-perishable food items, which they’ll hand over to the food bank. Food donations are accepted between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. on Monday (Dec. 12).
