International food drive helps Sidney Lions Food Bank

The Curves International’s 13th annual food drive is set to start next month. From April 4 to 17, Curves will waive the membership fee for new members who donate a bag of non-perishable food or make a minimum donation of $30.

Curves Sidney hopes to beat its Christmas donation to the Sidney Lions Food Bank — 1,000 pounds of food. Their goal is to strengthen women and strengthen our community.

In addition to the food and monetary donations that each gym collects, Curves International is offering gyms the opportunity to win cash prizes for their local food banks.

Curves has two locations on the Peninsula, Sidney and Saanichton.
